SIZING GUIDE

Paper sizes refer to the paper's total dimensions and include a 1-inch white border. For example, an 18x24" paper print will have a 1-inch white border with a displayed image at 16x22".

Originals and canvas print sizes refer to the size of the image displayed.

Rolled canvases come with an additional 3-6" border to allow for stretching after arrival

Rolled canvases that does not come with an extra 3-6" border will be specified in the description of the artwork

PRINT AND CANVAS QUALITY

Q: How is the quality of the prints and canvasses ensured?
The utmost care is taken in creating and preparing each artwork to ensure it meets the highest standards. I personally review every piece before it goes to print to ensure it represents the original work faithfully.

Q: Who prints the prints and canvasses?
All prints and canvasses are produced by a trusted third-party printing company. While we carefully select a reliable partner, the printing and shipping are handled externally.

Q: Can mistakes happen during printing or shipping?
Yes. Despite our best efforts, not all circumstances can be foreseen, and occasional errors can occur during printing or dispatch. These are rare, but it is important to note that the final product is produced by the third-party company.

Q: Why use a third-party printing company instead of shipping from the artist directly?
Shipping artworks internationally from my studio would be prohibitively expensive and take a long time. By using a local printing partner, we can provide high-quality prints and canvasses at a reasonable price and ensure they arrive faster to your doorstep.

Q: What should I do if there is an issue with my print or canvas?
If you receive a print or canvas with an issue, please contact us immediately. We will work with you and the printing partner to find a solution. Your satisfaction is important, and we strive to make things right.

HOW IS THE ARTWORK SHIPPED?

All original paintings are carefully prepared and professionally packed using acid-free materials and protective padding to ensure safe delivery. Paintings are shipped gallery-wrapped on stretchers unless otherwise specified, and each comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. Your original painting is fully insured against damage or loss during transit—please contact us immediately if it arrives with any issues.

Paintings created off-stretcher will be shipped as rolled canvas, while those on stretchers up to 36x48’’ are sent via courier. Larger stretched originals may require custom freight arrangements.

ORIGINAL ARTWORK SHIPPING

Shipping for original paintings is available internationally! After purchasing, you will receive an invoice for shipping costs, which must be paid prior to dispatch. Original artworks are shipped directly from my studio in South Africa and can take up to 2 months to arrive, depending on your location. To reduce shipping costs and protect the artwork, it is preferred to remove the canvas from its frame and ship it rolled in a protective cylinder; the canvas can then be carefully stretched onto a frame upon arrival. Please note that import duties, taxes, and any applicable VAT are the responsibility of the customer. All original sales are final, so we recommend checking the SA shipping estimate (use 1300 as the ship-from zip code) prior to purchasing. STUDIO RON-EL is not responsible for any import duties or taxes applied by your country.

HOW IS SHIPPING CALCULATED?

Original Artwork:
Shipping costs for your original painting will be calculated and included on your invoice after purchase. Payment of the shipping fee is required before your artwork is dispatched. Please note that import duties and taxes may apply, which are the responsibility of the customer. All original artwork sales are final—be sure to review the SA shipping estimate before completing your purchase (use ZIP code 1300 as the shipping origin).

Printed Canvases & Art Prints (3rd-Party Fulfillment):
Shipping for printed canvases and art prints is calculated at a rate during checkout based on the item and destination.

MY ORDER WAS DAMAGED/LOST IN THE MAIL?

We want every unboxing experience to be a beautiful one, so please reach out to info@studioron-el.com if you have questions or concerns with your order!

Q: What happens if my print or canvas arrives damaged?
Please note that STUDIO RON-EL is not responsible for how the shipping service handles your order. Because of this, we are not liable for any mishandling, failed delivery, or damage that occurs during transit. Once the item has arrived, any damage incurred afterward is also not the responsibility of STUDIO RON-EL.

Q: What if my order is lost or not delivered?
All shipments are trackable through the courier. If your order is lost in transit, please reach out with your tracking information so we can assist in investigating the issue with the printer and courier.

Q: Can I return or exchange an art print or canvas?
Due to the nature of custom-printed items, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless the wrong item was sent or the print quality does not meet expectations.

Q: Can I cancel my order?
Orders cannot be canceled once they have been submitted to the 3rd-party printer for fulfillment. Please double-check all order details before completing your purchase.

Q: What if I entered the wrong shipping address?
We are unable to replace or reship items for free if the shipping address provided is incorrect. Please ensure your address is correct before completing checkout.

Q: Are refunds available?
Refunds are only issued in cases where the wrong item was sent or there is a significant defect in print quality. Shipping errors caused by incorrect addresses or buyer changes are not eligible for a refund.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

When joining The ART IN THE MAIL subscription, you sign up for a monthly subscription to receive a beautiful postcard each month! The images are always a surprise, like an unexpected gift in the mail from a friend! During the first week of every month, we will send you a 6"x 4" postcard art print.

WHAT WILL YOU RECEIVE?

One 6"x4" postcard print. Packaging and postage is included in the price!

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

Yes, we have friends joining the print club from all over the world

WHEN TO SIGN UP FOR THE NEXT PRINT?

To guarantee you will receive the following month's print, signups must be done by the 15th of each month. For example, if you sign up by Feb 15th, you will receive the March print mailed out during the first week of March.

CAN I CANCEL AND RE-SUBSCRIBE WHEN I'M READY?

You can pause or cancel at any point! If you cancel after the 15th of the month, we will still send your final art postcard during the first week of the following month. For example, if you cancel on Feb 16th, you will still receive the March postcards. After this point, you will no longer receive the monthly postcards

MY ART PRINT DID NOT ARRIVE OR IS DAMAGED?

We cannot control the post office and are not liable for any damaged or lost items; however, we want every art experience to be a good one. Please let us know right away if you did not receive your postcard by the end of the month & we will do our best to resolve the issue!
